This 2009 HBO documentary follows the death with dignity ballot initiative in Washington State. The film follows Booth Gardner, beloved former Governor of Washington in the late 80′s and early 90′s, and his decision to fight for this option for terminally ill patients after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1994, just one year after leaving office.
